Are under the authority of the bus driver;

Will not fight, wrestle or engage in boisterous activity;

Shall use the emergency door only in case of emergency;

Shall be on time for the bus both morning and evening;

Shall not bring firearms, weapons or other potentially hazardous material on the bus;
-
Shall not bring animals, except approved assistance guide animals on the bus;
-
Shall remain seated while the bus is in motion;
-
May be assigned seats by the bus driver;
-
Shall cross in front of the bus or as instructed by the bus driver when necessary to cross the road;
-
Shall not extend their hands, arms or heads through the bus windows;
-
Shall have written permission to leave the bus other than at home or school;
-
Shall converse in normal tones; loud or vulgar language is prohibited;
-
Shall not open or close windows without permission of the bus driver;
-
Shall keep the bus clean and refrain from damaging it;
-
Shall be courteous to the driver, to fellow students and passersby;

Who refuse to obey promptly the directions of the driver or refuse to obey regulations may forfeit their privilege to ride on the bus.

Courteous table manners are always expected.

Food is not to be shared, especially food made at home.

Keep toys and playground equipment away from the cafeteria line.

Talk quietly. Be prepared to listen when an adult needs your attention.

Enjoy your meal. Try a little of each food group.

Clothing, bags, hats and other personal items used to display, promote or advertise unlawful drugs are prohibited on district grounds, at school-sponsored activities and in district vehicles. KCSD Policy JFCA Suggestion for stronger language that Admin in buildings have discretion on what is and is not acceptable based on this language and following.
