As a required part of the Klamath County School District's preliminary employment process the district requires drug tests for safety-sensitive positions in which the person is responsible for studentsí safety and security. Satisfactory completion of such tests is a prerequisite of employment.
KCSD only accepts substitute applications via Talent Ed Recruit and Hire (formerly known as EdZapp).

||RESTRICTED OREGON SUBSTITUTE TEACHING
INFORMATION REGARDING RESTRICTED OREGON SUBSTITUTE TEACHING LICENSE:
If you possess a Bachelor's Degree (or higher) you may be eligible to receive a Restricted Substitute License from Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC).
To begin the process necessary to substitute for KCSD without a valid Oregon Teaching License, you must submit a completed Restricted Substitute Teaching Application at: https://klamathco.schoolrecruiter.net/Index.aspx
If you qualify for an interview, you will be notified and an interview with the Human Resources Director will be arranged.
NOTE: Successful interviewees will need to request information regarding a Restricted Substitute License Packet from TSPC (503-378-3586) or visit their website for more information. Some of the materials TSPC will request are fingerprinting/criminal history verification, certified college transcripts, a letter from KCSD and fees.
