Exploratory classes are intended to give students an opportunity to learn skills they are interested in learning. Sometimes students are scheduled into classes they did not request. Frequently students discover that they like the subject, even though it is something they never would have tried on their own.
Brixner is offering several exploratory classes to take the place of the art and shop classes that were cut from the budget. These classes change each 6 weeks and depend on teacher and student interests.

Students who are in this class were either voted in by the student body or hand-picked by the student council leaders. In order to be in this class, the students have to meet certain criteria for the entire year. We will be learning about service, leadership, teamwork, character, and how to be successful in and out of school using positive attitudes and modeling appropriate behavioral expectations. This class should draw the leader out of the student so they can realize their potential.
Students will use Lego Robots and software to construct and program robots to perform certain tasks.
