Dan O'Brien
Dan O'Brien was a graduate of Henley High School in 1984. Dan was the first Athlete to win four events in an Oregon State High School Track and Field Championship Meet. He began competing in the decathlon and became the "World's Greatest Athlete" after winning the 1996 Olympic Gold Medal in the decathlon in Atlanta, Georgia with 8,825 points. He was a three-time World Champion and a two-time Goodwill Games Champion. He is a former World record holder for the decathlon with 8,755 points in 1998.
